1926 group 
 After a chartered taxi ride round the course, followed by a week of practice, a subdued mood crept over the Italian team, who settle instead for a safety-first ride. Mario Ghersi - 13th, Luigi Arcangeli - 14th and Miro Maffais - 20th. Bianchi didn't return to the Isle of Man again until 1960.
